ooc; Of course I support Kaname! Forever and always! And every human being on the face of this earth is manipulative, even if it’s not on a conscious level. When a girl pretends she’s scared, or cold, to get her boyfriend to envelop her in his embrace - that is a form of manipulation. I don’t see it as a character flaw, particularly in Kaname’s case. It is a means and tactic for survival. A man with such a comprehensive mind knows what it takes in order to be successful. Besides, his manipulations, more often than not, are for someone else’s benefit, ie, Yuuki’s. His behavior is multi-faceted, both selfless, and selfish, and no person is wholly one or the other. He is a realistic character, not a dramatized portrayal of angst.

ooc; I am as well, Kaname is like a work of poetry, and his feelings, his emotions are very realistic, unlike the usual “tsundere” prototype. You can almost feel his pain, and his love, heh. I’m glad others can appreciate him as well. Kaname is not a perfect man, but his imperfections are what make him beautiful.
